Twinkle Greatest Fear

So this is my submission for week 21 of the ATG on dA. It took me a while to get this done. First I wasn't sure what to draw. It took me a long time (and a suggestion from my mother. Thanks!) to figure it out. And then it took me a while to actually draw it because of certain... distractions. Some needed my attention, others I would have felt horrible if I hadn't given them my attention, and others are just really distracting to me.

It's really unfair that /phoenix/ (on Ponychan)'s current topic is cooking, let me tell you.

So if you're confused by this, here it is: Twinkle's greatest fear is represented in three ways. First, as you'll note, she's not standing. She's splayed out on the ground. If I describe that in any decent detail, it'll be obvious what her fear is. She's also missing her cutie mark (that's right: I didn't forget it). Finally, her magic is GONE. She can't even lift a small rock.

Her fear, then?

Being useless.

As a friend of mine suggested, there are other fears that she would have. She certainly fears failure, especially when others are depending on her. But the one thing she fears more than anything else is being useless. And it's a fear she very nearly had to face when she first came to Ponyville and found that her chosen work didn't need her. The only thing that managed to assuage that fear was the reason she came to Ponyville.

Thankfully, she found a way to not be useless in Ponyville shortly after she arrived, so when her purpose in coming there fell through, she was fine.
