Twinkle Pranked

So this week's assignment for the ATG group was to draw a pony being pranked. It took me a while to come up with an idea, but I managed to do it: Somepony puts hot sauce in Twinkle's tea.

Now, according to the MLP wiki, she's often seen with Lemon Hearts. This happens once, during Mare In the Moon Part 1 (in fact, it's her first appearance). Twinkle seems to be around pretty much everypony in Ponyville. I went through a number of episodes trying to find somepony that she hangs out with more than others. She appears with Colgate twice.

Which is why Colgate is there.

Those that have seen my other work may notice that this is drawn in a different style. Well, GIMPed in a different way. I decided on this when I was looking for a tutorial to help me using the ink tool in GIMP (when used in conjunction with the pathing tool, it produces lines like the kind you see in Twinkle's mane and tail curls, the connection between the body and legs, etc). Well, I found out that there's a better way of producing those lines, as done in FreeGimp's MLP speed paintings.

All things considered, I'm pretty proud of the way this turned out, ESPECIALLY the cushions. In case anypony is wondering, I did everything on Twinkle's side before I did the same on Colgate's side, though those with a good eye might notice that the top of Colgate's cushion is better worked on the top and her lineart is more consistent. I still have some things that I screwed up on. Including forgetting the little outline color part on Twinkle's hooves until after I was just about to upload this.

Edit: Those of you which are exceptionally astute might notice that the color of Twinkle's tea is different than that of Colgate's and that some has been drunk.

Oh, and they aren't missing their handles, nor is the teapot missing. As to the former, it's a different style of teacups. As to the latter, the teapot is elsewhere now. Why? Because teapots are a pain to draw from a side view, let alone trying to do it with perspective.

Edit2: OK I FIXED THE TAIL. Now maybe I can think about something else...
